The Team had a great time visiting the Sun City Museum recently! Mike wanted us to really understand the community we serve so off we went. It’s rare when the whole team gets together so it was fun for all. Have you been? It’s like stepping back in time to when Sun City was brand new and a row of model homes were built to showcase the new community endeavor by Del Webb. While the others on the street have been remodeled over the years, the very first model home has been lovingly restored  to how it6 looked on January 1, 1960, when the master-planned, active-adult retirement community opened. Many years later it became the museum and the only building in Sun City to be listed on the National Register of Historic Places. The color pink figures prominently inside and out which lends to its charm and you’ll get a kick out of the various items that may take you back to your childhood and further. I’ll be you’ll remember many of the items in your grandparents’ homes! We want to thank Lind and our docent Catherine for making our visit so much fun. So much fun in fact that we became a business partner. The Valley Independent even posted articles about our visit in their newspaper and their online version!
