Hi, everyone! I may sound like a broken record but this month I want to share with you even more exciting new choices that we’ve just gotten in!
First up…
SHUTTERS and BLINDS
We’re excited to be working with a new company that offers a lot of great options for window treatments. They recently installed some display shutters in our showroom so you can see and touch! These beautiful shutters come with independent shutter control meaning that if you want to open just a section of it, you can. This gives you more control over the light and view. Their shutters come in many different paints and wood stains. They also offer honeycomb blinds, black-out shades, Roman shades, shades that open from the top or the bottom, even motorized…you name it, they’ve got it!
LAMINATE FLOORING
Don’t read past this and dismiss it because you thought, “Ugh, laminate! No thanks!” I’ve got some news for you. Mohawk, one of our vendors who provides us with our Luxury Vinyl Plank flooring, has another option: laminate! But this laminate is not that laminate. This laminate is waterproof, scratch resistant, has no fillers, is great in bathrooms, more forgiving than LVP (softer underfoot for less “foot fatigue”). It has an AC score (Abrasive Criteria) of 4 which means it’s just below granite and stone so it’ll stand up to pets and grandkids! It’s fade resistant. What we really love is that it also mimics the look of real wood much more realistically than LVP. No matter how great LVP is, one can always tell that it’s not real wood. Even the experts can’t tell the difference between laminate and real wood! Mohawk even has a collection that has what they call EIR – Embossed In Register. This means, “If you see a knot, you feel a knot.” This also means that the grain you feel will match the grain in its surface picture – it won’t be misaligned. And great news! It’s cheaper than LVP! It will hold up over time and will never shift or lift due to its superior locking system. Have we piqued your curiosity? If so, come on in and look at our sample boards.
